The NJ Senate & Assembly were elected by "we the people" to represent NJ's citizens, not the world. A bill (S2599) sponsored by State Sen. Nilsa Cruz-Perez (D-Barrington) emerged from New Jersey Senate’s State Government, Wagering, Tourism & Historic Preservation Committee that would ban the words “alien” and “illegal alien” from the state code.
